Step 1. Eat Right – Eating right is important when it comes to acne. The food that you eat may be causing your acne problem. If you are not sure which type of food causes you to breakout, it is time for you to pay attention to what you put in your mouth. Oily food, Dairy products and Sugar concentrated tibits and beverages are known to worsen and cause acne. If you are consuming high amount of those, you should really reduce the intake.
Step 2. Gently Wash Your Face Twice Daily – Over washing your face will not help treat your acne problem. Infact it will worsen your acne because when you wash your face too many times, it irritates your skin thus increase the secretion of oil which clogs your pores and cause breakouts. Only wash your face in the morning when you wake up and before you go to bed. If you face gets to oily during the day, use anti ance facial wipes.
Step 3. Do not squeeze your pimples – Squeezing your pimples will only spread and worsen it. If your pimple is swelling and you want it fix, what you can do is to apply ice on it for 20 mins and pat it with vinegar using a cotton pad or ball. Just don’t squeeze em.
Step 4. Exfoliate your skin at least 2 a week – Use a gentle facial scrub at least twice a week to scrub of dead skin on your face. Dead skin that are trap in your pores encourages bateria growth and acne.
Step 5. Drink lots of water – Drinking alot of water will help your body flush out toxins in your body regularly.
